Cinnamon Fling Wrap Free Crochet Pattern

I love crochet lace especially with lightweight yarns. So pretty!

I have a collection of different colors of size 5 cotton and every once in awhile, I like to grab a cone of cotton and see where my hook takes me. It wasn’t intentional, but can you see the owls?

Gauge

Due to the nature of this project, gauge will vary dependent on your chosen yarn and hook size. Approximate gauge after blocking is: 27 hdc, in back loops only, for 12 rows = 4″

Notes

The base of this shawl is worked vertically to form a sort of curved rectangle, then stitches are placed across the long edge to form the lace edging.

Finishing

Blocking is recommended for all natural fibers. For this wrap, I wet the project in lukewarm water completely and squeezed out some of the water gently. I rolled it in a dry towel to remove as much excess water as possible. I placed the project on another dry towel and shaped it then allowed to dry.

With yarn needle, weave in loose ends carefully.
