Note

Hat is made from top-down, in the round, then ribbing is applied vertically.

When changing colors, drop the unused color and begin using the new color. Do not pull too tightly or it will buckle the fabric. Alternatively, you are welcome to cut off each color round, if you want. It will just mean more ends to weave in later.

The recommended product is more than enough to complete the hat. You could even make two hats from it, maybe even three.

Work in back loops of stitches only on those rounds where indicated, otherwise you will be working as you would normally, under both loops.
