Materials:
medium (worsted) weight yarn (31/2 oz/280 yds/100g per ball):
Scarf: 2 balls #1929 red
Wristlets: 1 ball #1929 red
Sizes J/10/6mm (Scarf), G/6/4mm (Wristlets)crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge:
Scarf: Size J hook: 13 sts = 4 inches; 14 rows = 4 inches
Wristlets: Size G hook: 16 sts = 4 inches; 14 rows = 4 inches
There seems to be some issue with the pattern, so I’ll try to fix that here.
DESIGNER NOTE: My instructions say to work in back loops throughout. This means that you will always work in the back loops unless the pattern instructs otherwise. For this pattern, there are also chain spaces. Since most people immediately would work into the chain space itself because patterns rarely state to literally work into the chains of a chain space, I clarified that portion by saying that you will work into the back loop of the individual chains. My attempt to clarify that portion apparently has caused a need for even more clarification. To be honest, it was a darned if I do and darned if I don’t situation. So, in closing, you WILL work in back loops only throughout as indicated and you will NOT be working into the chain spaces. You will work in the back loops of the individual chains as well.
