Pattern Notes

Unless instructed otherwise, close all rows as follows: Ch 1, [yo, draw through 2 lps] across.

To decrease in Tunisian crochet, working in sts indicated, insert hook under 2 lps at the same time prior to drawing lp through.

Unless otherwise indicated, always sk the first vertical bar of a Tunisian crochet row. The last lp on the hook from closing the prior row counts as the first st of the new row.

Note: Like all oven mitts and hot pads, use proper care when in use. Oven mitts are intended to handle hot things for brief periods of time. With any oven mitt (including purchased ones), you shouldn’t just stand around with it. The heat will eventually come through. The intention is solely to grab something and put it down.
