“Fair Isle Crochet Projects” is a crochet pattern book with 8 different projects. The designs are all by Melissa Leapman. Melissa is an incredibly prolific designer in both crochet and knit. She has over 1000 designs listed on Ravelry and I’m sure there are probably hundreds more that aren’t databased. Wow!
The projects in the book are made in all size 4 yarns, of the soft varieties; i.e. Caron Simply Soft, Red Heart Soft and Lion Brand Wool Ease. I believe these softer yarns will work better with the dense nature of Fair Isle, so stick with the softer varieties for best results.
I love this one. I love these colors together. So fun!

To work in Fair Isle, you’ll be working in all single crochet. The projects are all worked from the front side and there is no turning. You change colors on the row, as you go.
For the circular projects , you’ll be working in the round so staying on the front side of the work is what is usually done, of course. When working on the flat projects, like the blankets and scarf, you’ll start and end each row, leaving a tail which will later be knotted into fringe.
Overall, I’m going to say that these projects are all an easy skill level. You’re only working in single crochet throughout with very little shaping. You’ll just need to practice your tension when changing and floating the yarns.

Many of you have written to me to ask how you can help support CrochetKim. A Patreon account was suggested but I thought it would be better to provide ad-free PDFs of my patterns so you would get something in return. I'm steadily working on adding PDFs to all my patterns and I've also made this compilation available at a discounted price. You can, of course, view, print, paste to a word processor, convert to PDF, etc. on your own. This is just an extra feature so that people help out, if they want. Thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support and kindness these many years. Enjoy!
