How fun! This is my idea of a wonderful playground of crochet.
Do you get bored with the same stitch pattern throughout? This project should definitely be right up your alley.
If you don’t want to cut off the yarn so often, try picking just three colors and use the 3-color technique so you don’t need to cut off the yarn at all; you just carry it up the sides of the rows.
Think of some different possibilities. This could be your next scrap yarn project to get rid of the smaller balls of yarn you have in your stash.

I would love to see this in a solid color as well. There are a lot of textures that I see here, so I’m sure it would be just as fabulous.
Explore your creative side and think outside the box.
The important thing is to enjoy it and have some fun because, with a project like this, you just can’t help but have fun!
