That’s it. I’ll wait while you fully take in this crochet beauty.
Whoa! Just look at it. This is such a stunner. I just can’t even.

The pattern doesn’t specify the name of the designer but my hat is off to you, designer of unknown name.
This design uses only one hank of laceweight, not even 600 yards. The designer’s choice is linen and I’ve worked with this linen before (in the heavier weight from Universal).
If you’ve ever purchased linen ready-to-wear clothing, you will already know the feel of it, the crispness of the fabric.
What you’ll need to know about linen is that it’s a tad stiff when you’re working with it, right out of the ball.
Dip your finished project in water for blocking, though, and you’ve suddenly got a luscious, luxurious, drape-y shawl that feels like nothing you’ve ever felt before. It’s even got this cool-to-the-touch feeling that is brilliant.

Many of you have written to me to ask how you can help support CrochetKim. A Patreon account was suggested but I thought it would be better to provide ad-free PDFs of my patterns so you would get something in return. I'm steadily working on adding PDFs to all my patterns and I've also made this compilation available at a discounted price. You can, of course, view, print, paste to a word processor, convert to PDF, etc. on your own. This is just an extra feature so that people help out, if they want. Thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support and kindness these many years. Enjoy!
