I fell in love with this the moment I saw it.
Naturally, it’s lace which I love, but I also really like the pretty color. This is a finer weight yarn, so it’s light-weight and airy. I think I would still be a little warm in the 110 temps in my area of the United States during the Summer, but I would love to wear this in the Spring or Fall.

Note that this design is made in Simply Soft Light. Simply Soft Light is a finer version of Simply Soft, so you won’t want to substitute your typical Simply Soft.
Be sure to get the “Light” version to duplicate the same look as shown.
Also, please take note that this design is constructed as two rectangles.
You won’t be able to get the same look as shown on the model in the larger sizes, without some shaping. If you’re comfortable with shaping, by all means, go forth and conquer!
If you’re not comfortable with shaping, I think I may have an alternative, if you prefer the shoulder portion to sit on your shoulder rather than coming further down your arm.
I think that making a chain and then weaving it back and forth into the top of the shoulder then cinching it up will do the trick for you because of the fine weight yarn. It will draw it up and will make some folds, but I think it may work for you.
If I didn’t already have a project going, I think I would try it myself.

Many of you have written to me to ask how you can help support CrochetKim. A Patreon account was suggested but I thought it would be better to provide ad-free PDFs of my patterns so you would get something in return. I'm steadily working on adding PDFs to all my patterns and I've also made this compilation available at a discounted price. You can, of course, view, print, paste to a word processor, convert to PDF, etc. on your own. This is just an extra feature so that people help out, if they want. Thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support and kindness these many years. Enjoy!
