Yesterday, we discussed the difficulty in finding cute crochet patterns for boys.
Today, I want to discuss trying to find cute crochet patterns for older girls. It’s pretty easy to find crochet beauty for little girls but once you get up over two years, they’re more difficult to find.

I was thrilled to discover that this adorable little cardigan is sized from six months to six years!
This design is made in a size 3 lightweight, easy care acrylic and can be made in a wide variety of different color schemes.
The yarn, by Premier Yarns, called Primo, comes in some especially pretty colors for girls, including turquoise, peach, lavender and celery, my favorites in the collection. Update: It looks like this yarn is no longer on the Premier website so it must be discontinued. Here is the database information on Ravelry so you can get the details necessary for substitution. It’s a DK weight (Yarn Standards Size 3) 100% acrylic yarn.
Many of you have written to me to ask how you can help support CrochetKim. A Patreon account was suggested but I thought it would be better to provide ad-free PDFs of my patterns so you would get something in return. I'm steadily working on adding PDFs to all my patterns and I've also made this compilation available at a discounted price. You can, of course, view, print, paste to a word processor, convert to PDF, etc. on your own. This is just an extra feature so that people help out, if they want. Thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support and kindness these many years. Enjoy!
