Okay, wow! No, it’s not just because it’s purple! haha!
Seriously, this is gorgeous!

And, I’m thrilled to tell you that Berroco is offering the pattern completely FREE!
Here’s a close up so you can see the extraordinary hairpin lace. Just beautiful!
The yarn here is Berroco Denim Silk.
I am always a fan of anything denim-y, so it pains me to say that this yarn has been discontinued. It was a rayon/silk blend worsted weight with a sort of shiny yet rugged-y appearance.
It sort of reminds me more of linen.
I set out to find a comparable substitute and I was able to find a lovely yarn from Berroco called Fuji which is a cotton/silk blend, but it has also been discontinued.
It must have just happened recently because it’s not been reported on Ravelry yet.
Unfortunately, I have to go outside the brand in order to find a substitute and I hate to do that.

Many of you have written to me to ask how you can help support CrochetKim. A Patreon account was suggested but I thought it would be better to provide ad-free PDFs of my patterns so you would get something in return. I'm steadily working on adding PDFs to all my patterns and I've also made this compilation available at a discounted price. You can, of course, view, print, paste to a word processor, convert to PDF, etc. on your own. This is just an extra feature so that people help out, if they want. Thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support and kindness these many years. Enjoy!
