I’m currently looking out my front window and it’s a rainy, dreary, cold day. It’s a day like this that I positively yearn for some bright, beautiful colors around me.
These Hanging Towels from Snappy Tots are just the ticket to chase those wintery blues away!
There are a couple of wonderful things that I love about these towels.
First, they are solid crochet. Now, I’ve certainly got nothing against the purchased towels that you hemstitch and add a crochet topper. It’s actually a family tradition for my family.
Sometimes, though, I just want to crochet! I don’t want to deal with the cutting and the hemstitching. Just give me a hook and yarn!
Second, Heidi of Snappy Tots says that she specifically made these towels for her mother’s kitchen and she needed to make them more “squatty” to fit the space her mother intended to put them.
This is the epitome of DIY! You can customize your crochet. You can make it shorter, higher, wider, etc.
You can make it the way you want, the colors you want, when you want.
Love, love, love it!
