Here’s a cute little poncho, designed by Sue Childress and originally published in Little Ones Ponchos. It’s so tiny and so cute that you could easily finish this up in only a few evenings which works really well when you find yourself short on time for a gift.
Note that this design is written for a true worsted weight yarn, Berroco Comfort. This is lighter than other yarn weights in the size 4 range.
The pattern is written for sizes 6 months through 24 months, but I’m certain that you can increase the size easily with a slightly heavier yarn and larger hook, if you need a larger size.
Please use care with the button closure when making items for babies. Ensure that it is firmly secure or perhaps think about a different closure.
