Here is a free crochet pattern from Berroco yarns for Liza.
Mesh-look tops are very popular. I love the v-neck. I love the diagonal points at the bottom.
Liza is made in Berroco Lumina. Here, you can see a close-up of Lumina with its little metallic twist.
I really love the bling of Lumina and I’m sad that it’s discontinued. I used it in the top below which was published in Crochet! magazine in 2010. You can see it in the center of the top. You can pick up a free pattern download of this one HERE.
Although Liza looks terrific in Lumina, it’s more of an evening or party look, which you may be able to tell from the photo of my design. It’s that gorgeous bling!
Alas, my evenings are pretty much spent at home, crocheting. And, I’m not familiar with that word “party”. 🙂
What I would like to do with this pattern is see it in a nice, crisp cotton or linen. That would turn it into everyday wear for me.
I would keep that v-neck and the gorgeous diagonal lines at the bottom and I would probably shorten the sleeves to 3/4 length or maybe short sleeves.
I can easily see how this design could quickly become a wardrobe essential for me during the spring and summer since I like to wear tank tops so much.
