Kristin Omdahl makes the most extraordinary crochet lace. She even authored a book called “Crochet So Fine” that literally brought tears to my eyes. She has also written a book on “Seamless Crochet” with join-as-you-go motifs. This free pattern called Majestic Skies will introduce you to her join-as-you-go technique.
The Majestic Skies Shawl includes three different motifs and an extravagantly beautiful edging. This is a trifecta pattern from Kristin. You’ll find written text, symbol charts and a video is available HERE.
Pick up your free crochet pattern at Kristin Omdahl Designs HERE. There is a Print Friendly button (actually two of them) at the bottom of the pattern. You must allow the page to load before it will work. If you just scroll down and hit the button while the page is still loading, it gives the appearance that the button doesn’t work.
The yarn used in this project is Be So Sporty which is available in Kristin’s own line of luxury yarns and helps support her charity, Project Kristin Cares. “Please help me knock out domestic violence, one sale at a time.”
See the yarn choices in Kristin’s shop HERE.
