Julie King of Gleeful Things designs flirty, fun crochet projects. You may have seen her collection of barefoot sandals in previous posts, here at MakeItCrochet. The large, squishy cowl, especially one with fringe, is one of the hottest accessories this season. Yes, there is more than the messy bun hat, I promise!
I know I’ve said it before, but I find myself saying it again. Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable makes the most extraordinary projects. Even when I don’t know the yarn used, I still seem to go directly to them. It’s like some kind of Unforgettable Yarn Radar. For this project, Julie used Unforgettable in the colorway Polo.
This project is just a simple v-stitch and you’ll be repeating only one round throughout. You could easily binge watch only a few episodes of your favorite series in order to get this one finished. I’m currently watching “The Originals” with my crochet.
Open worldwide only where allowed by law. Not allowed in Quebec.
I’ll be giving away one faux leather crochet hook wallet as shown and the 14-piece aluminum crochet hook set shown. Please be aware that the hook wallet says “Twilight” in the scrolled portion. I don’t know why. I don’t think it has anything at all to do with the movies and I certainly never saw Bella with a crochet hobby. Perhaps it’s a brand name, but it is pretty cool, especially if you also happen to be a fan.
