Oh, wow! Isn’t that incredible?! This gorgeous art is brought to you by Jessie of Jessie At Home. Jessie is really pulling at my crochet heart-strings with this one.
You see, I’m a HUGE fan of the three-color technique. It’s an awesome technique where you work in one color, drop it at the end, pick up a different color, drop it at the end, work in the third color, drop it at the end, and with each successive row, the next color in the sequence is just sitting there at the end of the row, waiting to be picked.
It’s a brilliant technique that has the ability to produce some awesome colorwork without having to cut off after each row. I actually happen to be working in three color technique on a new design of my own right now. Love Love Love it! And You Will Too!
Jessie’s design is a lovely semi-circle shawl in a gorgeous lacework, worked in three different hanks of yarn from Crystal Palace Yarns called Panda Pearl.
