Here’s a fantastic triangular shawl pattern, originally published in Blue Ribbon Crochet by House of White Birches. The publisher is now generously offering it for free on their website.
This is one of those patterns that uses a fun novelty yarn, so if you have some ladder ribbon yarn handy, here’s your opportunity! The original yarn is Binario from Trendsetter but it’s been discontinued. Perhaps you were able to find some Matrix from Bernat at Dollar Tree in the last couple of years? Premier Yarns has a current ladder ribbon called City Life in some incredible colors. Check them out HERE. Ice Yarns also has some ribbon ladder yarns available HERE.
You don’t have to use a ladder yarn, of course. I might try it out in a mohair blend, perhaps something metallic. Ohhh, sequins yarns! It’s a superb pattern for novelty yarns because the pattern is so simple. It really lets the yarn shine.
