Anytime I see a design with Kristin Omdahl’s name, I know it’s going to be extra special and this one is no exception. Such a jewel! Isn’t it incredible that we can take some string and a little tool to make something so extraordinarily beautiful?
This project is made with a #1 super fine yarn and a G hook. This produces the incredible openness of the stitches. Even though they are single crochet, once the project goes for its water bath, it’s not easy to recognize that they are singles because they are blocked out. You can absolutely use a heavier weight yarn, even a sport or DK, but the stitches won’t have the same airy openness. That’s the beauty of this project. You can make it airy for warmer weather but make it again in heavier yarn for cooler weather. Win-win!

I’ll be giving away one little sheep crochet hook case with a set of nine acrylic crochet hooks, as shown in photo.
