One of the greatest joys of the holiday season is the opportunity it gives us to show how much we appreciate everyone in our lives—especially our friends.
Nothing could be more satisfying than draping this gorgeous Friendship Shawl around the shoulders of a dear friend. Representing the warmth and comfort that friends bring to us all year long, this lovely piece is sure to give you nearly as much joy in stitching it as you will feel in giving it away.
This is one of my designs from several years’ ago, but it’s recently been getting a lot of attention in several groups.
When commissioned to design this shawl, I was asked to do something a little more challenging.
And, while this design isn’t difficult, it has several different stitch patterns and elements to it which means that it’s never a dull moment for you!
And, did I mention that it’s a free pattern?
