Finished Size

Materials
- Lion Brand Hometown USA (super bulky acrylic; 81 yds per 5 oz): 2 skeins Honolulu Pink used in model
- Crochet Hook Size: M-13 (9mm)
- Yarn needle (for weaving ends)
Gauge
9 stitches x 4 rows in stitch pattern equals 4″
Special Stitches
Fan:: 9 dc in same indicated stitch or chain
Cluster (cl):: Yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo, pull up a lp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, [yo, insert hook in next st, yo, pull up a lp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook] twice, yo, pull through 4 lps on hook
Notes
Project is made flat then seamed to form the cowl.
Crochet Pattern Instructions
Row 1: Ch 18, sc in second ch from hook, *sk 3 ch, Fan in next ch, sk 3 ch, sc in next ch, rep from * once more, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, sk sc and dc, cl across next 3 dc, ch 3, sc in next dc, ch 3, cl across next 3 dc, ch 1, sk dc, sc and dc, cl across next 3 dc, ch 3, sc in next dc, ch 3, cl across next 3 dc, sk dc, dc in last sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in same dc as turning, sk cl and ch-3 sp, Fan in sc, sk ch-3 sp and cl, sc in ch-1 sp, sk cl and ch-3 sp, Fan in sc, sk ch-3 sp and cl, sc in ch-3 turning ch, turn.
Rows 4-29: Rep rows 2-3.
Row 30: Rep row 2, fasten off.
Assembly
Form a ring with your fabric by placing your cowl matching first row to last row. Take one side of the fabric for the cowl and turn it upside down. This will form the moebius twist. With yarn needle, seam the cowl together. Weave in the ends carefully and it’s ready to use!
