Gauge

Ribbed Cuff, before seaming: 2.5″ x 4.5″
Sole measures 3″ from heel to toe

Special Stitches

Single Crochet Two Together (sc2tog): Insert hook in stitch indicated, yarn over, pull loop through, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over, pull loop through, yarn over, pull through 3 loops on hook.

Notes

When working in only one loop of a stitch, sometimes the last stitch of a row gets a little loopy. Try working the last stitch into both loops instead, if it gets too loopy.

Crochet Pattern Instructions

Instructions

Ribbed Cuff

Row 1: Leaving a beginning strand of about 9″, ch 10, sk first ch, sc in each rem ch, turn: 9 sc.

Row 2: Ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across, turn.

Rows 3-15: Rep row 2

Row 16: Ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across, do not turn, do not fasten off.

With yarn needle, using the beginning strand, seam the top of row 16 to the bottom of row 1 to make a tube. You will now be working along the sides of rows 1-16.

Heel

Row 1: Ch 1, 2 sc in side of first row, sc in sides of next 3 rows, turn: 5 sc.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog, do not turn, do not fasten off: 3 sc.

Sock

Begin working in the round.

Round 1: Ch 1, sc in sides of 3 rows of heel, sc in sides of 12 rem rows of cuff, sc in sides of 3 rows of heel, sc in 3 sc at bottom of heel, sl st to first sc: 21 sc.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in 3 sc, sc2tog, sc in 8 sc, sc2tog, sc in 6 sc, sl st to first sc: 19 sc.

Round 3: Ch 1, sc in 2 sc, sc2tog, sc in 8 sc, sc2tog, sc in 5 sc, sl st to first sc: 17 sc.

Rounds 4-10: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st to first sc: 17 sc.

Round 11: Ch 1, [sc, sc2tog] to last 2 sc, sc2tog, sl st to first sc, fasten off.

Finishing

Turn sock inside out. With yarn needle, seam toe with ending strand. Weave in all ends carefully.
