Note
This project is made in typical C2C diagonal crazy stitch, changing colors as indicated on the chart. I’m not carrying any yarns across because I don’t want it to show on the back. The colors can be be placed on bobbins to be dropped when not in use, to be picked up later. In some rows, there are many strands of working yarns. I’m stopping every once in awhile to weave in the ends because it would be a really big job to save it for the end.
The skill level for a project like this is easy. The color changing isn’t difficult either. It’s just tedious and can even be frustrating at times.
This page is just a place marker. I’m not finished with the blanket so I don’t have a finished photo or any finished materials information at all. I’m not putting up instructions at this time either. Everything will be updated upon completion. I’ve got five projects going right now, so it may be awhile. In the meantime, people saw the in-progress photo and were really excited about it. Since the technique is something that a lot of people are already doing, I was asked to put up the chart right away for those who would like to get started. I currently have three balls of yarn in each color. I plan on making the border in Aspen and it’s the only one which is causing me some concern about whether or not I’ll have enough yardage.
