Today’s the day! My Make it For Me day. 🙂
This is the second annual Make It For Me event with ELK Studio. Kathy has set aside the entire month of January for everyone to enjoy themselves after all the hard work of crocheting gifts for everyone else and we can now concentrate on making something for US!

I decided to make this year’s event even more special by making something for ME too! I chose this incredible yarn from Plymouth Yarns called Mushishi in self-striping shades of purple because… purple. I had received this extraordinary yarn as a gift and it needed a special project.
I used a pattern I had done previously and available on my website HERE. The stitch pattern was so easy to memorize that I had this finished in just one weekend!
There was nearly 600 yards in this one ball of Mushishi and I think I still have enough to make a matching hat. Bonus!
I hope you enjoy this pattern and Kathy’s fabulous annual event, just for crocheters to relax and treat themselves for a change.
Jump over to ELK Studio to catch up on all the daily projects HERE. There are prizes too so don’t miss the fun!
Many of you have written to me to ask how you can help support CrochetKim. A Patreon account was suggested but I thought it would be better to provide ad-free PDFs of my patterns so you would get something in return. I'm steadily working on adding PDFs to all my patterns and I've also made this compilation available at a discounted price. You can, of course, view, print, paste to a word processor, convert to PDF, etc. on your own. This is just an extra feature so that people help out, if they want. Thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support and kindness these many years. Enjoy!
