Small Cluster: Yo, insert hook in next dc, yo, pull lp through, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, insert hook in sp of ch-5 beginning ch, yo, pull lp through, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, pull through 3 lps on hook.

Crochet Pattern Instructions

Row 1: Sk 3 ch (counts as first dc), dc in each rem ch across, turn.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc here and throughout), sk first dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, *sk 2 dc, [dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2, dc] in next dc, sk 2 dc, dc in each of next 5 dc, rep from * to last 8 dc, sk 2 dc, [dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2, dc] in next dc, sk 2 dc, dc in each of next 3 dc, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, sk first dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, *ch 2, cluster (see Special Stitches above), ch 2, sk 1 dc, dc in each of next 5 dc, rep from * to first ch-2 sp after last 5-dc group, *ch 2, cluster, ch 2, sk 1 dc, dc in each of next 3 dc, turn.

Row 4: Ch 3, sk first dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, *2 dc in ch-2 sp, dc in top of cluster, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, dc in each of next 5 dc, rep from * to ch-2 sp before last cluster, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, dc in top of cluster, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, dc in each of next 3 dc, turn.
