Row 1 (RS): Sk 8 ch, dc in next ch, ch 1, working in front of dc just worked, sk prev skipped ch and dc in next prev skipped ch (cross made), *ch 1, sk 3 ch, dc in next ch, ch 1, working in front of dc just worked, sk prev skipped ch and dc in next prev skipped ch, rep from * to last 2 ch, ch 1, sk 1, dc in last ch, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first dc, *ch 1, sc in next dc, rep from * to last dc, ch 1, sc in sp of ch-8 turning ch, turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, sk first sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, working in front of dc just worked, dc in prev skipped sc, *ch 1, sk next sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, working in front of dc just worked, dc in prev skipped sc, rep from * across, dc in same last sc as cross, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first dc, sk next dc, *ch 1, sc in next dc, rep from * across, sk ch-3 turning ch, turn.
