English Name: Tunisian Ladder Lace Stitch
Symbol Chart
Tunisian Extended Stitch (tes): When used at the beginning of the row, it simply means that you chain one to bring the first stitch up in height. When used in other stitches for this stitch pattern, insert hook as for Tunisian Simple Stitch, pull loop through, then chain one. More information on Tunisian Extended Stitch.
Level of Curling: Light to no curling. More information on the natural curling of Tunisian crochet.
Note: When closing the stitches in the second part of each row, the stitch pattern instructs to chain 1 to close the first stitch then another chain 1 for the skipped space. If you chain a little loosely, you may discover that you don’t need that second chain 1 there at the beginning and you can omit it. Continue with the chain 1 between the stitches for the remainder of the closing.
Stitch Multiple
Chain any multiple of 2, then add 4
