- Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball (cotton/acrylic, 481 yds per 150g skein, worsted, size 4) 2 skeins, shown in color Unique Unicorn
- Suggested hook: J-10 (6mm)
- Needle (for weaving ends)
Gauge
In stitch pattern, 15 sts for 9 rows measures 4″
Special Stitches
Cluster (cl): Yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo, pull lp through, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, [yo, insert hook in same st, yo, pull lp through, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook] 3 times, yo, pull through 5 lps on hook.
Notes
This horizontal shawl is worked from short edge to short edge, in one piece.

Row 1: Ch 66, sc in second ch from hook and in each rem ch, turn: 65 sc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc and ch 1 here and throughout), sk 2 sc, [cl (see Special Stitches above) in next sc, ch 1, sk 1 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, sk 1 sc] across to last 3 sc, cl in next sc, ch 1, sk 1 sc, dc in last sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st and ch-1 sp across to ch-3 at end of row, sc in ch-3 sp, sc in second ch of same ch-3, turn: 65 sc.
Row 4: Ch 3, sk 2 sc, [dc in next sc, ch 1, sk 1 sc, cl in next sc, ch 1, sk 1 sc] across to last 3 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, sk 1 sc, dc in last sc, turn.
